Did you know....
This cafe was formerly an 1885 pub called The Dukes Motto. We've kept the brass sign above the door and restored the original wooden panelling inside. The historic pub had the unfortunate nickname 'the monkey house' due to the cheap, raw cider it sold and the unsavoury patrons this attracted. Think you'll agree the drinks have changed for the better!
Spend £30 on tea accessories and we'll give you a free 'tea for one' set with china teapot, teacup and saucer.
