Job Title: Wholesale Manager reporting to Managing Director

Salary: 25K + sales based commission OTE £35

Job Purpose: Yumchaa Tea is looking for an energetic, proactive and experienced sales professional to assist the business with its ambitious plans for expansion. The Yumchaa management team have an immediate requirement for a target driven, outgoing and creative sales person to grow and develop Yumchaa’s business to business wholesale arm. In short, selling large quantities of Yumchaa tea to other food service providers! (cafes, independent food shops, bars, hotels). A unique opportunity to make a real impact at an exciting and rapidly growing brand.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Business Development –Actively pursuing new sales opportunities and following up sales leads to deliver wholesale targets
  • Account Management – Ensuring Yumchaa is maximising all sales opportunities with our existing wholesale client base and continuing to provide excellent service and support
  • Development of the Yumchaa wholesale proposition and support infrastructure
  • Representing Yumchaa at trade shows throughout the year

Desired Experience:

  • An impressive track record of sales success in a similar role
  • Experience in winning new business and developing meaningful wholesale relationships
  • A good understanding of the foodservice wholesale sector
  • Experience working in a small and fast moving foodservice business demonstrating proactivity and creativity

Shop Managers (Various Locations) 40 - 48 Hours/Week

Normal Working Hours:  5 days, 48 Hours per week, including weekends, early shifts (7am), late shifts (10pm) and public holidays

Salary: £20k – £24k pa (depending on experience) +10% performance related bonus

Holiday: 20 days + 8 Statutory

Job Purpose: Yumchaa Tea is looking for an experienced and energetic shop manager to help run the day to day operations of one of their unique tea shops and assist the business with its ambitious plans for expansion.  A unique opportunity to make a real impact at an exciting and rapidly growing brand.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for driving shop turnover and ensuring other KPI targets are met
  • Recruitment and induction of new team members
  • Rota planning
  • Responsible for the ongoing training and development of new and existing Yumchaa team members through on the job training and regular reviews and feedback
  • Ensure all staff understand and uphold Yumchaa company policy. Addressing any breaches of company policy in accordance with the company disciplinary procedure.
  • Product ordering to ensure full availability and minimise wastage
  • Addressing staff personal and welfare concerns
  • Ensure all team members deliver exceptional customer service every day
  • Ensuring shop trading law compliance
  • Management of shop cash procedure

Desired Experience:

  • History of improving customer service in a fast paced hospitality environment

In the shops you will be required to greet each customer who comes in with a smile, take, prepare and serve orders, keep the shop clean and tidy, handle cash and provide excellent customer service at all times.

On the market stalls you will get the chance to show us how well you are able to work on your own, introducing customers to our loose leaf teas and meet sales targets. This is a great opportunity to use your inter-personal skills to draw in a crowd to promote and sell our tasty teas!
